Elon Musk, skilled loser and CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter remained in the spotlight this week. Donald Trump continues his madness-has-overtaken-me cabinet appointments. Together, they represent a formidable disrupting force in the lives of every American. Even the cretins that voted for MAGA will suffer.

Orange Donny and presidential babysitter Leon have been on an extraordinary tear of bad acts this week. Neither of these fools can go even a few days without being at the top of the headlines. I could criticize the mainstream media for hype reporting their every move, but unfortunately, these morons make news with every stupid and unethical step they take.
OpenAI Doesn’t Love Me
Musk filed another lawsuit against OpenAI. Yay.
Here’s a brief background: the ChatGPT company was founded as a non-profit in November 2015, a move that hinted to Elon this wasn’t going to be another of his stock pump companies. By early 2017, the need for more funding to develop AGI (lol) led the company to pivot into a for-profit structure. Musk’s demands for majority control and the CEO position were rejected in favor of OpenAI’s mission to “benefit humanity” (again, lol). After proposing a merger with Tesla and then resigning as co-chair in 2018, Elon bitched and moaned about the company’s need for continuous annual funding so OpenAI could stay competitive in the tulip-inspired AI marketplace. In early 2019, OpenAI created a cap-profit entity, OpenAI LP, to attract larger investments. In 2023, Musk launched a competing company, xAI, and then sued OpenAI. This was clearly an attempt to interfere with OpenAI’s business because Elon is probably a psychotic narcissist.
So here we are. This is pretty typical for Musk. He needs his companies to be completely under his control so he can use them as a stock pump. Elon dumps plenty of stock to cash, but more so he calls on his army of sycophant stans to keep pushing the grift and juice the market value of his stock and options. These sad losers really feel like they are special to him. They have built the perfect paranormal relationship where they think Elon loves them and needs them. He cultivates these beliefs every day with his hundreds of Twitter posts and retweets. We are watching an abusive relationship at scale in the millions.
I’ve got no love for AI companies. Their business model is sketchy at best, and their energy needs are insanely high given they don’t produce virtually anything of value. Well, maybe a little value. I do use AI to help outline my ideas, and have generated a few images for this site, but I don’t see the revolution.
Anyhow, the headline here is Musk cannot remain out of the spotlight for even a moment. It seems this need for public awareness is getting worse. He is now photographed together with Trump on a near daily basis. From parties, to fundraisers, to sporting evens. There he is, Trump’s babysitter dutifully by his side, like some drug addled golden retriever with hair plugs. Suing OpenAI is a way for Elon to stay relevant. In his mind.

Wagging the Dog
The fictional Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) supposedly headed by Musk and icky nightcrawler Vivek Ramaswamy has made news day after day, striving to remain firmly placed on the chyrons of cable news. These morons have Republican senators talking about “…taking a look at entitlements” in their quest to reduce the federal budget by 2 trillion a year. This is madness. These two robber barons can go fuck themselves sideways. Reducing the already low pittance Social Security pays out to the nation’s retirees is heartless. It’s just another example that US voters (and those that ‘stayed home’ fuck you all) are an asinine group of idiots that cannot see they are killing the country.
I saw a great meme post this week reminding Americans that $2000 in extra taxes for universal healthcare is less than the average $8000 they pay today for basic coverage [forehead slap emoji here]. Vivek has started to push the idea that preventative care should be excluded from insurance coverage altogether. This is what Trump wants.
Oh, you think I forgot about Trump for a few paragraphs? Nope. Trump wants to gut the already poor healthcare coverage to boost profits for insurers and providers. He’s happy to let the useful idiots run their DOGE game and take the hits for him. Eventually, the public will get beaten down like they always do, and something else will pop up to distract, and the damage will be permeant.
Getting back to our main character, the SEC has issued a ‘settlement demand’ to Musk following the investigation into his Twitter buyout. Musk will be subject to possible criminal charges if he does not comply. Yeah, right. The key phrase here is ‘subject to’ so don’t expect any enforcement with the new administration coming to power.
As a bonus, the SEC has also reopened an investigation into Neuralink, the sham company that implants microchips into people’s brains. The company learned how to do this by killing hundreds of animals because of their unethical experiments with the technology. A technology that is far from revolutionary and has been around for decades.
Musk probably wants his consciousness to live on forever. He can’t stand the idea that he might not be the “most important person ever” (more lol) even after his death, so hey, let’s try not to die. At what point do the Elon stans figure out he’s nuts and their love for him is one way? Hopefully soon because the media is still playing up that he’s some genius man-child. The hype of portraying him as both a towering force in the tech industry and a figure under constant legal and regulatory scrutiny, like some like of tech freedom fighter, is exhausting. GFY Elon. Hard.
Shut the Cabinet Door
I learned a new thing this week. There are a shit ton of cabinet and advisor appointments made by a US president. They just keep appearing like bugs in the spring evening. Endlessly buzzing around seeking to snip at your peace. Again, exhausting.
Sure, I knew generally the president appoints plenty of people in a new administration. But I don’t remember each appointment rising to the level of a Michael Buffer “Let’s get ready to rumble!” event. The New York Times has a comprehensive tracker and bio explainer for each person. What? To be fair, the reason for the intense scrutiny of these people is that they are either unqualified, a criminal, a former criminal, a family member, a Bible-thumping gun nut, or simply a blatant pay-for-play influence peddler.
A perfect example to highlight Trump’s appointment madness is Elise Stefanik. She has been nominated to represent the United States of America at the United Nations. She defended Trump during his impeachments (remember those gfc) and has fought to “expunge” those impeachments which is not a thing at all.
Stefanik will no doubt give lovely UN speeches on the need for a strong America, how other nations should ‘pay more’ for US support, and generally push Trump’s transaction-based approach to foreign policy. Her role is to delegitimize the UN as an international leader of peaceful negotiation. Trump wants no guardrails to his agenda to deport millions from the US and to destabilize Europe in favor of Putin. It’s a nightmare trifecta for diplomacy.
